The "Top Queries" feature empowers data analytics teams to curate a selection of queries tailored to diverse use cases for any dataset, ensuring easy access for all users.

Metaphor AI Explainer All catalog users can leverage Metaphor AI to generate a short Business and Technical summary of long and complex queries. 

Discover faster with Ask AI Simply Ask AI about use cases or how to query your data, and instantly receive the most relevant Top Query.

Top Queries in Domains & Data Products Customers can also curate top queries associated with a data product so users can easily find queries they should care about.

Enhanced Common Column Attributes

In addition to descriptions, data admins can now assign contacts and governed tags to columns. Write a description once, select attributes, and apply them to any column instance within the data stack.

Explore the Lineage Canvas

Metaphor's improved full-page Canvas makes it easier to navigate large and complex lineage graphs. Toggle features like Impact Analysis, Column-Level Lineage, hiding/showing Non-Prod assets, and more for streamlined navigation from the Canvas toolbar.

Self-Managed Crawlers

In cases where a data system may reside behind a firewall, or when policy does not allow sharing the connection credentials with Metaphor, Metaphor now lets Data admins view the status of self managed crawlers within the administrative console.

Displaying dbt Compiled Source Code

Users can now view the dbt Model code used to generate a table or view directly in the asset page and in the lineage side panel. Users can access the dbt source code and its compiled version.

Displaying Tableau SQL

Users can also access the underlying SQL query for Tableau datasources in the lineage graph's side panel.
