Meeting your users where they are‍

Lets face it, most business users don't really want to learn yet another tool that the data team puts together. We've introduced several new features to meet users where they are.

🔍 Natural Language Search (New!)

For business users who may not want to get trained on 'yet another tool from the data team,' our newest update to the Metaphor app within Slack or Teams apps lets users type a search query in plain English, the app then uses AI to generate a meaningful answer and points users to related assets and documentation within the catalog.

🌐 Browser Extension

Yet another capability for the business user, the ability to quickly see trust signals and details about the dashboard they are looking at without actually going into the catalog. The Metaphor Chrome/Edge web extension automatically recognizes the dashboard page a user is on and displays highly relevant information about that dashboard including descriptions, tags, contacts. Users can also initiate a service request from that screen and see conversations their colleagues are having about that dashboard.
